President of Macedonian Kickboxing
Federation I am honoured to invite
You to attend our WAKO European
Kickboxing Championships
Our
country will be host for the frst
time the Senior European Championship.
I hope we will justify your trust
and confidence.
Macedonia
is well known as one of the most
attractive countruWe are in the
centre of Balkan peninsula . I am
sure that all of you will be suprise
of ours hospitality and I hope You
will take part in this championship,
where we will present the kickbox
in large quantity and quality for
the first time in Macedonia. I will
be honoured with Your presence.
Every
time Macedotian national team participate
in WAKO World and European Champions
and WAKO cups. Now I am expecting
that you will do the same, to come
to our country with a national team.
After WAKO is recognise from GAISF,
let show to the Europ how attractive
our sport can be . Thanks for your
support.
It
is said that Skopje is the navel
of the world.And l ion of oveand
modern citu with populatwe thineautifug
that is true.In the hart of Balkan
Peninsula at the crossroads of the
worlds,it connects the tradition
and modern.It is a city with millennium
tradition of existence.Todau Skopje
is a beatiful and modern citu with
population of over one milion people.The
citu was mainlu out slab,clamping
it to the Vardar river floodplain
almost as a modular unit.Among the
many international architects that
participated in its reconstruction
was the japanese planner Kenzo Tanga
,who gave the center a ,,situ wall,,
oof high / rise buildings.Today
city is still spreading in all directions
and has a number of new developments.The
city and its vicinity have plenty
of valuable cultural and historical
monuments which attract the attention
of every visitor.
The
famous Stone Bridge in the city
square built under the patronage
of Sultan Mehmed 111 the Conqueror
betwen 1451 and 1469 , today is
featured as the emblem of the city
of Skopje.T he Stone Bridge over
the Vardar river gives access to
old part of the city of Skopje with
its many cultural and historical
monuments. On the slpoes of near
by Mt.Vodno stands the famous chrch
of St.Pantelejmon from 1164,decoratet
with freskoes of exceptional artistic
value. The chrch of Holy Savior
-Sveti Spas is locatet near the
kale Fortress.It was belived that
it was built in the 17 th century,
but the 1963 eartquake gave evidence
that is actually datet from the
16th century.The 19 century iconostasis
of the chrch of Holy Savior is carved
in walnut and combines a profusion
of plant and animal motifs with
the figures of saints in local costumes.
After
the exciting day in Skopje you can
enjou the tastefull Macedonian cuisine,
delicious Macedonian wines or have
fun in our night clubs. Because
of that, I am inviting not only
sportsmen, I am inviting theirs
parents and also their families.
We will also have the opportunity
to organize tourist vacation in
nearest plases.
